Your Secret is Safe with Me
Meet as strangers.
Share a secret.
Leave with a lifetime bond.
Can you keep a secret? How about share one? The social practice installation Your Secret is Safe With Me dares you to do both. First you must swear to never reveal the secret that you receive. Then you write down a secret of your own, seal it, and then exchange it with a stranger, or you can put it on public display, while still retaining your anonymity. Local artist Christopher Jagmin seeks to revisit the wonder of childhood secrecy by getting strangers to share their secrets. This installation provides a private space where strangers can create a bond by sharing something that those closest to them may not know.
