Camelback Walk

The pedestrian path known as Camelback Walk features The Path Most Traveled, the art designed for the Pima Freeway and the neighborhoods adjacent to the freeway. Pedestrian scale imagery on the back side of the freeway walls features a smaller, more dense version of the art on the freeway.

Selected artworks in Scottsdale's southern region

This map features two new public artworks in southern Scottsdale. Floating World, by L.A. artists Sylvia Tidwell and Calvin Abe, can be seen at the Eldorado Park Aquatic and Fitness Center, 2301 N. Miller Road. (corner of Miller and Oak Street). The map also highlights Tonalea Landmarks and Rippling Waters Bridge by Seattle artist Carolyn Law. The 'landmarks' describe a series of traffic calming devices created for the Tonalea neighborhood to safely slow down the flow of  community traffic. The pedestrian bridge at Oak Street & 66th Place on the Crosscut Canal was built to replace an old one, in order to provide important and safe access for school children and recreational users.
