Opening Reception for 11 Miles of Color: Repurposing Spring Crossing

Please join us for the Opening Reception for 11 Miles of Color. Enjoy refreshments and talk with the artists about their work.

Join Scottsdale Public Art on Thursday, January 14, 2016 for the opening reception for 11 Miles of Color: Repurposing Spring Crossing, a new exhibition in the Gallery @ The Library, Scottsdale Civic Center. For this exhibition, eleven Arizona artists have been chosen to create their own artworks from the acrylic braid fibers re-purposed from Randy Walker’s Spring Crossing installation, created for Canal Convergence 2014. During the opening reception, the artists will be present and can discuss how they took the reclaimed materials from Spring Crossing, and applied their artistic vision to create a new artwork.
