Location

Noriega Livery

Northwest corner of Second Street and Brown in downtown Scottsdale

Description

Inside the Noriega Livery you will find a unique and colorful mural by Arizona artist Joel Coplin. The scene shows horses being fed in their stalls. Each horse was inspired by individual animals the artist worked with during his time as a carriage driver in New York City. Coplin has created a contemporary but timeless image painted with the same techniques used by the Old Masters.

"I want to.honor the work horses - the horses with no papers or trophies. The ones who go out, rain or shine and do heavy work with a good heart."  -   Joel Coplin
