Location

Tournament Players Club

17020 N. Hayden Rd.

North of Frank Lloyd Wright Blvd., West of Pima Freeway

Description

Completed: 1997

Media: Ceramic tile, copper, concrete, brick

Robert W. Harrison, an architectural ceramist living in Montana , has had much experience in combining the physical environment of a site with historical and architectural influences. His tile work accentuates the arches in the bridge, and the spiraling copper clad capitols reference the saguaro cactus blossoming at sunset. Golfers in carts pass under this bridge and enjoy the beautiful surroundings while being exposed to public art.
