Americans for the Arts

On June 23, 2008 Americans for the Arts announced the 45 selections for the 2008 Public Art Year in Review, which celebrates the most successful, innovative, and creative public art projects completed during the previous year. Presented at the Americans for the Arts annual convention in Philadelphia by curators Jody Pinto and Ted Landsmark to an audience of over 1,500 arts professionals from across the country, the winning submissions were selected from a pool of over 200.

Not one, but two artworks from the Scottsdale Public Art collection were selected to be one of the 45 highlighted in this prestigious review
